Did You Know: Improperly Stored Trash and Recyclables
Did you know improperly stored trash and recyclables can affect you and your neighbors?
Improper storage of household trash and recyclables can provide a source of food and a home for rodents and insects, not to mention the aesthetic of how it looks for the community. Ensure you properly store trash in a leak-proof trash can with a lid. Waste, not in a can must be in heavy-duty plastic bags manufactured for exterior use. Do not overstuff the cans; lids must fit securely. Please prepare the materials for inclement weather to minimize the possibility of trash or recyclables being scattered throughout the neighborhood.
Recycled trash must be separate from regular trash and placed in containers the county provides specifically for that purpose or clearly labeled containers. No plastic bags will be accepted for recycled waste.
Please note that improperly stored trash violates the community’s covenants and can result in fines. Please help us keep Oak Creek Club beautiful and protect the property values of all homes.
