Community Update: Addressing Beaver Activity in Pine Valley

Community Update: Addressing Beaver Activity in Pine Valley

Dear Oak Creek Club Homeowners Association,

We hope you’re doing well. We want to discuss the recent increase in beaver activity in your area and the steps we are taking to manage the situation.

As many of you have noticed, beavers have been busy constructing dams and lodges, which have damaged trees. While we appreciate beavers’ ecological role, we also recognize the challenges their activities can pose to your community.

To address this issue, we are implementing a proactive action plan that includes the following:

Monitoring: We will closely monitor beaver activity in key areas, especially those affecting roads and property.

Community Education: We will provide resources and information on coexisting with beavers, including protecting your property and recognizing beneficial behaviors. (Please see below)

Collaboration with Local Wildlife Organizations and Contractors: We partner with local wildlife contractors to ensure our approach is humane and effective.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to balance wildlife conservation with community needs.
