Did You Know – Pet Policy
The Oak Creek Club Community is a pet friendly community, but does have some policies regarding pets to enhance the life of all its residents.
1. Pets must be curbed only in those portions of the Association’s Common Areas defined as “Pet Areas.” Pet owners are responsible for the immediate removal and proper disposal of animal waste on all portions of the Common Areas, including Pet Areas. Pet Areas are defined as areas AWAY from: buildings, homes, walkways, picnic and play areas, amenities area, and any additional areas defined by the Board of Directors.
2. It is against the law for the owner or custodian of any animal to allow the animal to run at-large. Any dog or cat that is found at-large may be impounded. (State Law Sec. 5-7-33.1) Pets shall not be permitted upon the Common Areas unless they are carried or leashed. No pet may be leashed to any stationary object within or near the Common Areas and left unattended.
3. Pet owners are responsible for any property damage, injury or disturbances their pet may cause or inflict. Animals that cause frequent or continued noise will not be allowed to disturb the comfort or repose of any person in the community. Any person disturbed by a noisy animal must advise the owner. If the nuisance is not abated, the person may then notify the Commission for Animal Control to file a complaint.
4. Commercial breeding of pets is prohibited.
