Community Safety Communication
Dear Oak Creek Club Homeowners,
We hope you are all doing well. In light of last week’s auto theft incident, we understand many of you have concerns about vehicle safety and security. While we must defer to local law enforcement as they continue their active investigation, we want to share some general reminders to help everyone remain vigilant.
Vehicle Security Tips
- Lock Your Vehicles:
- Always lock your doors, even if you’ll only be away briefly.
- Close all windows and sunroofs.
- Remove Valuables:
- Do not leave personal items such as wallets, electronics, or keys in your vehicle.
- Bring in any valuables overnight.
- Park in Well-Lit Areas:
- Whenever possible, park in areas that are well lit and visible.
- Consider installing motion-sensor lights.
- Stay Informed:
- Report any suspicious activity to the Prince George’s County Police Department immediately.
- Keep an eye on community bulletins and updates from official law enforcement communication.
We will share any available updates as we continue to work closely with local law enforcement. In the meantime, we appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Taking these proactive steps can help maintain a safer environment for everyone.
Thank you for your continued vigilance and support.
