Office Closure in Observance of Independence Day

Dear Oak Creek Club Homeowners Association,

The management office will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024, and Friday, July 5, 2024, in observance of Independence Day. The office will reopen on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.

PARKING PASSES: Please get in touch with the management office for parking passes by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

YARD WASTE: Regular collections for Friday, July 5, 2024, slide to Saturday, July 6, 2024. Organic collections (including food scraps and yard trim collections) will occur on Monday, July 8, 2024.  After the collection is complete, please store your receptacles out of street view as soon as possible. If your pick-up is missed, please contact 311 or submit a complaint electronically at Prince George County Clicks 311 and follow their instructions.

TRASH: If you are hosting a social gathering over the weekend, please be respectful of your neighbors by reminding your guests to use proper trash receptacles when disposing of waste.

For gate access, please input your guest into Dwelling Live (https://community.dwellinglive.com/login.aspx?t=true) to expedite gate access or dial 0001 for Access Control to call you directly to approve access for your guests or vendors.

Homeowners can contact the Access Control team at (301)390-8245 or (301)390-8246 for assistance. If they have any questions, feel free to contact the management team at (301) 390-1721.

GATE ACCESS, SPEED, & PROCEDURE: To decrease daily gate damage, homeowners are encouraged to communicate the gate access procedures PARKING below to their household members, guests, transportation services, contractors, and delivery drivers.

  • The posted speed limit in Oak Creek Club is 20 MPH.
  • Tailgating is prohibited at all Oak Creek Club gate entrances.
  • Please ensure all guests, contractors, and vendors are input into Dwelling Live to improve traffic flow at the gate entrances.
  • All non-residents should enter the community in the 2nd lane marked for visitors. If your guest or vendor needs help with access, they should dial 0001 on the intercom to contact the guardhouse.
  • Residents and guests should allow the gate arm to come down behind the car in front of them before proceeding through the gate. At each entrance, signs are posted stating “One Car Per Gate Arm.” This operation must be followed to ensure the gate has completed the previous gate entry transaction and to avoid vehicle damage. Once the gate opens, please proceed cautiously and do not delay!
  • Vehicles should never enter through the exit lane, even if it’s open.
  • At the Main Gate on Mary Bowie Parkway, a pressure safety loop opens the 2nd clubhouse gate arm. To ensure you drive over the loop and release the clubhouse gate arm, you must stay to the right side and go 20 MPH. Do not follow vehicles closely. The procedure for this gate entry is also one car per gate arm.
  • PARKING: Parking on both sides of the street is prohibited, and please be mindful not to park on your neighbor’s grass

Your cooperation and prompt attention to this community concern will help decrease gate repair expenses and prevent costly vehicle repairs.

Kind regards,

TaShawn Andrews
