Social Media Posting Guidelines – Facebook
The closed Oak Creek Club Facebook page is approaching three years of being in existence. The page is a way to connect with your neighbors and discuss various topics that may be of interest as well as seek referrals for lawn care, child care, share a recommendation for dinning and a host of other items that may affect the community and or the county. The Communications Committee works with the HOA management team and the social media management company to administer the Facebook page. The Facebook page is not intended to be the official communication vehicle for the management of the Association but a place for neighbors to connect. Please continue to contact the HOA management team for concerns that require attention.
The Communications Committee recently submitted a recommendation to update the use policy for the Facebook page. The Board of Directors approved the recommendation which can be found in this communication listed below. The policy will be updated on the Facebook page and will be available for review in the Owner Resources tab on the Association’s website site www.oakcreekclubhoa.com.
If you have not joined the Facebook page you can click here. There is also the Nextdoor app which is a public app that a number of Oak Creek Club residents are a member of and is connected with some of the neighboring communities and the Community Safety Officer from the 2nd District Police Department.
The Communications Committee is currently seeking new volunteers. Please check the Oak Creek Club calendar under the stay connected tab for their meeting schedule.
