Dear Oak Creek Club Homeowners Association,

Effective: Sunday evening, January 5, 2025, through Monday evening, January 6, 2025

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect as a significant amount of snowfall is expected to impact the area starting late Sunday night and continuing through Monday evening. Snowfall totals are expected to range between 6 to 10 inches, making travel potentially hazardous.

Community Update:

• Snowplowing Services: McFall and Berry Snowplows will operate throughout the community to clear roads and maintain safe conditions. Do not be alarmed if the plow makes an initial swipe through the community and departs. They will do this for several other communities and return to ours to keep reducing the accumulation. This practice prevents accumulations from developing beyond the capabilities of local equipment.
• Gate Access: All gates will remain open starting at midnight to facilitate snowplowing operations and will remain open until snowplowing is completed. For Access Control matters, please contact the guards on duty at 301-390-8245.

Safety Recommendations

• Avoid unnecessary travel. If you must travel, plan and allow extra time to reach your destination.
• Keep emergency supplies in your vehicle, including a flashlight, blanket, and water.
• Stay updated with local weather forecasts for any changes to conditions.

Residents are encouraged to stay safe and take necessary precautions during this winter weather event

Office Closure:

Due to the severe weather forecast for Monday, January 6, 2025, our office will be closed, and we will operate remotely.

Our team is closely monitoring the situation, and we anticipate resuming regular business operations on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
